IHOP Is Giving Away Pancakes Today

And it's all for a good cause – in case you needed another reason to get a short stack of buttermilks.

It’s National Pancake Day, and that means IHOP is giving away free(ish) pancakes.

All it takes to get a short stack of buttermilk pancakes is a donation of any size to the restaurant’s charitable partners – which include the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Shriners Hospital for Children, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Kiwanis International, a volunteer organization that works to help children around the world through service projects and fundraisers.

So there you have it – it’s all for a good cause. And all local IHOP’s are participating – including the Center City, South Philly and Port Richmond locations. The deal is valid all day long.

IHOP expects to serve five million pancakes today – a record for the business, which aims to donate $3.5 million to children battling critical illness. The organization claims it’s raised more than $24 million for various charities since its first National Pancake Day in 2006.
