SEPTA Wilmington/Newark Service Suspended After a Person Was Hit

Service on the Wilmington/Newark line is suspended after a train hit a person at Glenolden Station.

SEPTA Wilmington/Newark service has been suspended this afternoon after a person was struck on the tracks at Glenolden Station in Delaware County.

The train hit a person just before 4 p.m. Glenolden police officers are reportedly at the scene. Train service is suspended until further notice.

SEPTA says affected passengers should take the Market-Frankford Line to 69th Street and transfer to the 109 bus, which goes to the Chester Transportation Center in Delco.
