The Philadelphia 76ers will open their season in Philadelphia on Wednesday, October 26th against Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The game will be televised nationally on ESPN, the 76ers first nationally televised game since the 2012-13 season. In fact, the 76ers will have five nationally televised games this season: October 26th against the Thunder (ESPN), November 7th against Utah (NBA TV), November 14th at Houston (NBA TV), November 17th at Minnesota (TNT), and December 16th against the Lakers (ESPN).

The 76ers will start off the season by having 16 of their first 22 games at the Wells Fargo Center, including two (November 5th and November 27th) against LeBron James and the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers. Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, and the Golden State Warriors will visit the Wells Fargo Center on February 27th.

The 76ers will have 17 back-to-back games this year, which continues a trend in the NBA to cut back on back-to-back games. They played 19 back-to-back games last season and 21 during the 2014-15 season.

The 76ers last game before the All-Star break will be Wednesday, February 15th against the Boston Celtics, and they will return to action on Friday, February 24th when they host the Washington Wizards.
