You don't see that happen very often.

Tuesday was an unusual night at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. No, not because the Phillies managed to score 13 runs, although that happened, too. What was unusual about the game was the moment when umpire Bob Davidson ejected an unruly Phillies fan from the stadium.

“Did he just toss a fan out of the game?” asked one of the announcers on TV. “He is actually going to eject a fan. When was the last time you saw that happen?”

It happened in the sixth inning of the Phillies game against the San Francisco Giants. Davidson stopped the game, walked over to the stands, and told a fan to get out. The fan was reportedly heckling the Giants repeatedly with inappropriate language.
