Philadelphia police are looking for a pair of heartless kids who tormented a homeless guy who was trying to seek shelter from the rain last month.

The bizarre incident unfolded around 10 p.m. on May 29th in South Philadelphia. Police said the 42-year-old man had ventured into the vestibule of a TD Bank at 5th Street and Oregon Avenue to avoid a downpour when the evening took a violent turn.

Surveillance footage from the bank  shows the juveniles repeatedly opening the vestibule door and hurling rocks at the man, who tries to cover his head with his arms. One of the kids pushes a shopping cart into the small room and rams it into the man; he and his pal then return to pelting the homeless man with rocks.

The victim curls up in a corner of the vestibule when the young bullies appear to leave … but then they return, and start chucking rocks at him again, the footage shows. Police said the man was treated at Methodist Hospital for minor cuts to his head and neck pain.

Anyone with information on the young attacks can call 215-686-TIPS, or send a text message to PPD TIP (773847).
