The Utah Jazz released the schedule for the 2016 Utah Jazz Summer League, which the 76ers will participate in.

The Sixers games are as follows:

  • July 4th: Celtics vs 76ers
  • July 5th: 76ers vs Spurs
  • July 7th: 76ers vs Jazz

Interest in the Sixers summer league appearances should be at an all time high, with the #1 overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft participating, unless something very unexpected happens.

The Sixers have recently stated that Joel Embiid is unlikely to play. Embiid, the 3rd pick in the 2014 draft, has yet to appear in an NBA game as he works his way back from multiple surgeries to repair a fracture in the navicular bone of his right foot.

The NBA also announced the 24 teams that will participate in the Las Vegas Summer League, which includes the Philadelphia 76ers. The Vegas Summer League will take place from July 8th through July 18th at the Thomas & Mack Center and Vox Pavilion at UNLV.

The Sixers 2015 Las Vegas Summer League team featured Jahlil Okafor, who averaged 18.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game in two appearances in Vegas. Okafor also appeared in 5 games in Utah, averaging 15.8 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.

The Sixers have not yet released rosters for who will participate in each league.
