Father David Creato Arrested in Brendan Creato’s Death

A grand jury indicted David Creato on two counts, including first-degree murder. Read the indictment here.

David Creato, Jr., 22, the father of 3-year-old Brendan Creato, has been arrested in connection with the death of his son.

Creato was taken into custody around 2:15 p.m. today in Washington Township after a grand jury indicted him today (full indictment below) on one count of first-degree murder and one of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

A family member called 911 around 6 a.m. on October 13th to report Brendan missing. Police dogs located his body in a wooded area off South Park Drive in Haddon Township shortly before 9 a.m. that morning.

Creato is being held in the Camden County Jail pending arraignment tomorrow morning.

The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and the Haddon Township Police Department declined further comment.
