Montgomery County agents searched Kathleen Kane’s office on Tuesday, according to multiple reports.

“The detectives arrived Thursday morning at Kane’s Harrisburg office in the Strawberry Square complex near the state Capitol, said Chuck Ardo, Kane’s spokesman. Ardo said he did not know what the detectives were seeking,” The Morning Call reports.

“This is at least the fourth search warrant to have been executed at various offices of the Attorney General since the investigation was launched in the summer of 2014,” PennLive adds.

The Inquirer says agents were looking for evidence to challenge Kane’s testimony that she never signed a key oath of secrecy; she says she thus can’t held criminally liable for leaking grand jury secrets. “In seeking such an oath, prosecutors who charged Kane last month with leaking confidential grand jury information are looking both to undermine a key element of her defense and raise new questions about her veracity.”

Kane is scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 14 on the charges.
