Man Steals $5,000 in Laptops From Northeast Philly Catholic School

The burglar entered through a side window the morning of Labor Day and swiped laptops and other equipment from the computer lab.

A man broke into St. Martin of Tours school in Summerdale and stole $5,000 worth of laptops and other computer equipment, police said.

The robbery happened on Monday morning, on Labor Day, at around 6:40. The burglar got in through a side window and left through the door. Surveillance footage shows the man exiting the school with a bag of equipment.

Police released the following description:

White male, 18-22 Years-of-age, thin build, wearing a white tank top, black pants, black hat, and white shoes.

He appears to have a skull tattoo on his right bicep as well. Police ask anyone with information to contact them. Confidential tips can be left at 215.686.8477, texted to 773847 or submitted using this form.
