If These Two Women Invite You Into Their Car, We Suggest Saying No

They are wanted in connection with an armed robbery in Northern Liberties.

The Philadelphia Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify the two women seen in this photo in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in Northern Liberties on Sunday.

Around 6:15 a.m. on Sunday morning, a 21-year-old man was walking with a male friend on the 900 block of Canal Street, about a block from Yards Brewery and two blocks from the Standard Tap. According to police, the men encountered the two female suspects and followed them into a Buick Rendezvous. When they did, say police, a black male revealed himself from the back seat and pointed a gun saying, “You know what this is.”

A struggle ensued and the 21-year-old man managed to wrestle control of the gun away from the man in the back seat. After that, police say that one of the suspects said, “I’m shot,” at which point the victims got out of the car.

Police describe the two female suspects as follows:

Suspect #1: Black female, medium brown complected, freckles on her face and chest, tattoo’s on her arm and chest, and an “Aquarius” tattoo on lower back.

Suspect #2: Black female, medium brown complected, wearing a black top, and black tights.
