Philadelphia police are looking for a burglar who broke into two businesses in South Philly — but failed to get away with cash at one of them.
The first break-in took place on July 3rd at the Bainbridge Street Barrel House at 6th and Bainbridge at 5:20 a.m.. Survillance footage shows the man getting in through a back door and motioning to an accomplice. But when an alarm goes off, the man instantly flees from the bar.
Police say the same man — tattoos in surveillance footage matches — broke into Artisan Bakery at 12th and Mifflin the next day at 4:30 a.m. He spent a good minute attempting to open the cash register but couldn’t, so he just absconded with the register altogether.
