Police: Irate Passenger Pulled Knife on SEPTA Bus Driver

The driver's offense? He asked the man to clear the aisle.

The Philadelphia Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the man seen here, who is wanted for an aggravated assault on a SEPTA bus driver.

According to police, the man, who may or may not be wearing a fake Louis Vuitton cap, was riding the Route 23 bus on March 21st near the intersection of Germantown and Erie avenues when he became angry after the bus driver asked him to clear the aisle.

Police say the man responded by pulling out a knife and threatening the driver before exiting the bus onto Erie Avenue. Naturally, he was caught on video (seen below).

The suspect is described by police as follows: “Black male, 6′ 0″, wearing a brown & checkered hat, tan scarf, dark brown jacket, and light blue pants.”
