Police Find Mystery ATM Behind Dumpster

Cops in Falls Township say an ATM was found behind a Dumpster on Business Route 1. It appeared to have been broken into.

Cops in Falls Township recently found an ATM, pictured above, on the 100 block of Lincoln Highway, near the Oxford Valley Mall. It was behind a Dumpster.

Police say the ATM appeared to be forcibly opened, which probably means it was lifted from a store elsewhere, smashed open outside and dumped on Business Route 1. (A man in Philadelphia recently ripped off a South Philly market by stealing the cash register intact.)

Judging by the photo of the ATM, it also had plastic miniature palm trees growing out of it? I’m not sure — maybe MAC machines have plants in them so they can be powered by sunlight.

Falls Township, in Bucks County, includes parts of Levittown and Fairless Hills. Cops there say if anyone knows anything about this mystery ATM to contact Detective Dennis O’Connell at 215.302.3308 or oconnellpd@fallstwp.com.
