Queen Village Burglar Caught In the Act By Resident
He apparently had his eye on some packages in the foyer.
Philadelphia Police are looking for the man seen here as a suspect in a residential burglary in Queen Village.
The man was caught on video on the afternoon of January 22nd gaining access to the foyer of a residence near Front and South streets. On the video (see it below), he can be seen scoping out the property, entering the foyer and beginning to sort through the mail and packages left there.
Police say that as the man was examining the packages, the resident confronted him, and the suspect fled on foot.
He is described by police as follows: “Dark complected male, race unknown, wearing a gray coat, scarf, tan pants, white knit hat, and dark colored shoes.”
