The FBI says that the man seen in these photos robbed the Republic Bank at 1601 Walnut Street on Tuesday night around 6:45 p.m. According to the FBI, he did so using a fake bomb.

The suspect walked into the Center City bank and handed the bank teller a note, demanding money and explaining that he was carrying a bomb. Then he pulled out a box with wires hanging out of it. The teller gave him cash, and he left.
