Another Accuser: Woman Says Bill Cosby Raped Her in 1970s

An actress, who was dating Sammy Davis Jr. at the time, says Cosby raped her in a motel in Michigan. She says Cosby "spun me around, pulled my panties down, and just took it."

Katherine McKee told the New York Daily News Bill Cosby raped her in a Michigan hotel room in the 1970s when she was on tour with Sammy Davis Jr. McKee, an actress, was dating the musician at the time.

“Back then, I was Sammy’s road wife,” she told the paper. “He had an open marriage, and we were lovers. That’s how it went.” But she says Cosby, now 77, assaulted her when she arrived at his hotel room after she invited him to a party.

McKee says Cosby grabbed her and “spun me around, pulled my panties down, and just took it.”

She says she never told Sammy Davis Jr. of the assault she alleges, and “was mad at my own self for not saying, ‘What the fuck?’ Why didn’t I stop it and get him away from me?” McKee had appeared on The Bill Cosby Show in 1971, before the alleged rape.

“It was a rape, but it seemed so strange to call it that,” she said. “We think of rape as a stranger who attacks you in a parking lot.” Cosby has never been criminally charged with rape or sexual assault and maintains his innocence. A lawyer for Cosby recently sent a letter to CNN, accusing the network of being biased against him.
