Cherry Hill Cops Find 250 Pounds of Pot

After Cherry Hill police found 250 pounds of marijuana in a recent bust of a Camden man, they posed K-9 unit Mika in a ridiculous drug bust photo.

Cherry Hill Police today announced a drug bust where police seized 250 pounds of marijuana from a truck and a storage unit.

Police said narc cops uncovered suspicious deliveries to a storage unit in the town and proceeded to perform surveillance. Cops stopped Nelson Anderson after they observed him transferring boxes from the unit to his car. They called in the K-9 unit Mika (above, in one of the most ridiculous drug bust photo ops of all time), who returned a positive for drugs.

Police found about 100 pounds of marijuana in the car. After getting a search warrant, they found an additional 150 pounds of pot in the storage unit.

Anderson, of Camden, was charged with a variety of marijuana offenses, including distribution of marijuana in a school zone. “Police K-9’s are an invaluable resource and investigative tool in helping fight the drug epidemic,” Cherry Hill police said in a statement.
