Northeast Philly Man Shoots Fiancée’s Dad With Rifle Multiple Times

An argument between two men turned violent in Bustleton on Thursday night, with the shooter firing almost 30 shots from a rifle.

A Bustleton man fired multiple shots from a high-powered rifle at his fiance’s father in the Bustleton section of Northeast Philly on Thursday, police said.

At least 28 shots were fired in the attack on the 8900 block of Alton Street near Pennypack Park. The victim was shot multiple times and remains in critical condition at Albert Einstein Medical Center.

A police source told the Daily News the two men are not only neighbors, but the victim is the father of the shooter’s fiancée. One home was hit 20 times with stray bullets.

“The shooter fired multiple shots, unloaded his magazine, then reloaded the weapon,” Police Chief Inspector Scott Small told NBC 10.

Cops arrested the shooter, whose name has not been released, without incident.
