Bradley Cooper Mocks Giants Fans in Eagles Video

The newest promo video from the Philadelphia Eagles features Bradley Cooper mocking New York Giants fans. Plus: All-black uniforms!

Sunday night at Lincoln Financial Field, the 4-1 Eagles play the suddenly hot 3-2 Giants in what will likely be a nerve-wracking game. But — before a stressful football game leaves Eagles fans a complete drunken mess, win or lose — please enjoy this Eagles promo video narrated by Bradley Cooper.

You’ll note this clip does not contain perhaps the greatest play in Eagles-Giants history, the DeSean Jackson walkoff punt return in 2011. Still, it’s pretty entertaining! Anything making fun of Giants fans is going to play well to a Philadelphia audience.

The Eagles are wearing all black (jerseys and pants) for the first time ever on Sunday night, which is probably the least interesting uniform news in the history of the franchise. The Eagles are wearing the new Nike Elite 51 jersey this year, but so far only in white: Nike says it won’t finish the midnight green jerseys until about midseason. How this has not sent Nike stock plummeting I do not know.

The all black might actually look pretty good. The new Elite 51 jerseys have these stupid giant black collars that make players look like they’re wearing award medals when they take the field. The stupid collars should look much better with the darker black jersey than the all-white one.

This has been your Eagles uniform update. If the black jerseys look terrible with black pants, I shall return with another installment on Monday.
