Man in Halloween Mask Robs Bank

A man believed to be in his 60s robbed a TD Bank branch in Hatboro for the second time this year, police say. This time he had on a monster mask.

An “older male” in a Halloween mask robbed a TD Bank branch in Hatboro Wednesday morning, police say.

At 10 a.m. this morning, cops say, the man — in what appears to be some sort of monster mask — pointed a gun at a teller at the TD Bank on York Road in Hatboro. He fled in a blue older-model Buick (with the stolen license plate GKM 2042) after escaping with an unidentified amount of money.

The suspect is described as an older, 6-foot-tall medium-build white male with white hair. He wore a light denim jacket, jeans and white sneakers in Wednesday’s TD Bank robbery.

The same suspect is also wanted in a robbery of the same branch earlier this year. On July 25th, the FBI says a white male in his 60s robbed the same branch and also fled in a dark blue older model car. That robber was described as having “knobby knees.”

Anyone with information about either robbery is asked to call the FBI at 215-641-8910 or the Hatboro Police Department at 215-675-2832.
