Gov. Chris Christie and Bruce Springsteen haven’t always been on the same page.
But don’t tell the governor he can’t play his idol’s music ahead of his town hall events.
“You’re wrong,” Christie responded curtly after Sandy Booket told the governor at his Long Branch town hall she was puzzled by Springsteen blaring on the speakers ahead of his arrival.
Things got more heated from there, with Booklet poking fun at Christie’s recent trip to the Hamptons, and Christie responding: “I wasn’t dancing with Bon Jovi. I was dancing with Jamie Foxx.” The cry of populists everywhere.
