Main Line McDonald’s Employee Charged With Selling Crack at Work

And police couldn’t resist a “happy meal” joke.

radnor-mcdonalds-employee-selling-crackWhat the heck is happening to the Main Line? First, there was the big Main Line marijuana ring that was busted back in April. And now, an employee of the McDonald’s in Radnor has been accused of selling crack while on the job. CRACK! Main Line, you are one Burger King bathroom sex scandal away from being Upper Darby.

Radnor Police have arrested 29-year-old Allen Trammell after police allegedly made several undercover drug purchases from him while he was on the clock at the McDonald’s at 516 West Lancaster Avenue in Stafford, Radnor Township. He had worked there for about two years.

According to police, Trammell had more than 50 bags of crack cocaine and a whopping $150 in cash on him when he was arrested.

Naturally, Radnor Police used this as an opportunity to make a "happy meal" wisecrack during a press conference this week. "When not working as a crew and preparing food, he was out in the rear parking lot selling crack cocaine," Radnor Police Lieutenant Andy Block said on Wednesday. "So in a sense, it can give you a new definition of what may be considered a happy meal."

Trammell has an arrest record dating back to 2005, when he pleaded guilty to possession with intent. He remains in jail, unable to post $100,000 bail.
