Signs new deal with WIP.

Philadelphia Business Journal reports that Ray Didinger has signed a new deal with WIP — one that expands his on-air role to KYW and WPHT.

Didinger’s popular WIP Saturday show withGlen Macnow from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. will be expanded to include a Sunday edition. The duo first mentioned the change on their program last weekend but CBS Radio’s Philadelphia Market Manager Marc Rayfieldmade it official in a press release Thursday.

In addition to the new Sunday show, CBS Radio said Didinger will make more frequent appearances on WIP and will appear with Chris Stigall on Fridays during the football season and contribute commentary on KYW Newsradio.

Didinger’s career has spanned the entire media spectrum: He was a hall-of-fame football writer for the Daily News and a senior producer for NFL Films before going into radio.
