Two Dozen Ducks Rescued From Van

One employee of Q and Q Live Poultry Market was cited for animal cruelty.

The Pennsylvania SPCA found 25 ducks from a hot van on the 1000 block of Spring Garden Street earlier this week.

The ducks were apparently there at least a day, per the SPCA. A passerby heard the ducks “panting” and alerted authorities.

The ducks belonged to Q and Q Live Poultry Market, which is at 12th and Spring Garden. One employee was cited for animal cruelty.
