Jerry Mondesire’s Daughter Arrested for Threatening Judge on Social Media

Bail set at $100,000 for Jennifer Mondesire.

Attorney Jennifer Mondesire, the 35-year-old daughter of suspended Philadelphia NAACP president Jerry Mondesire, was arrested on Monday for threatening Judge Jeffrey Minehart on social media, reports Tasha Jamerson, the spokesperson for the District Attorney’s office.

“Judge mineheart I will end your life for trying to kill me and my mom,” reads a May 31st tweet sent from Mondesire’s Twitter account. She was charged with making terroristic threats, harassment and possession of marijuana, court records show. Bail was set at $100,000, according to Jamerson.

“I don’t even know what Twitter is,” says Judge Minehart, the supervising judge for the criminal division. He handled the Kermit Gosnell case. “The police department contacted me,” explains Minehart. “And it was not something that I was aware of until they called me.”

According to Minehart, Mondesire appeared before him a couple of weeks ago as an attorney on a minor case. “She was very pleasant then,” he adds. “And I saw her in the hallway, and it was all very normal. But my understanding is that she has some issues.”

Indeed, Mondesire’s Twitter account, @SendMeABaby, would appear to support that notion.

Neither Mondesire nor  her father could be immediately reached for comment.

Here are the tweets from that account that mention the judge:
