Ben Revere No Longer Holds “Saddest” MLB Record

He hit a home run. In a Phils loss, though.

We told you in April that Ben Revere holds the “saddest” major league baseball record: The most plate appearances without a home run.

Last night, Revere hit a home run! In a Phils’ loss, sure, but still. These days, we’ll take any sign of progress we can find.

    On WIP Radio someone said the record was held by someone else, with over 1500 plate appearances.
