Severe Thunderstorms Could Hit Area Today

The National Weather Service at Mount Holly reports: “Please stay weather aware today as much of our region is under a slight risk of severe thunderstorms today (area in yellow). If any additional storms develop this afternoon through early this evening, we could see damaging winds and small hail (we have chances for thunderstorms through the day and tonight, but the main period of concern for severe thunderstorms is this afternoon into early this evening).”
