Can’t Decide Where to Register? Give ‘Zola’ a Try

A look at the Zola iPhone app.

A look at the Zola iPhone app.

Choosing where to register can be a modern bride’s most frustrating conundrum – Crate & Barrel or Williams Sonoma? Macy’s or Bloomingdale’s? What about Sears for that toolset hubby wants to add to the list? And should you ask for honeymoon donations? Ugh…decisions!

But just in from the tech world, a fix: You can have it all (or at least register for it all) with Zola, a website and just-released iPhone app from the founders of Gilt.

Zola lets you and your significant other create an everything and anything wishlist with items from the big department stores and your favorite small boutiques, online retailers and more. After you sign up for a free account, get about creating your custom list of products, experiences, services, honeymoon funds and more. The possibilities are limitless!

There are cool added features, too, like a custom registry homepage you can personalize, a barcode scanner that recognizes products, a crowd-funding tool for big ticket items, and, our favorite, the ability to decide when gifts will arrive, so you can delay all those big boxes cluttering your place until after the honeymoon.

Plus, the Zola app offers a Tinder-style selection tool for browsing goods with speed. The “Blender” suggests an item, you swipe right to add it to your registry or swipe left to see the next item. This could get dangerous…

Happy registering!
