Five Years Later, We Still Miss Harry Kalas

Sunday marked a half-decade since the Phillies' announcer died.

CBS Philly reports: “Sunday marks the 5th anniversary of the death of former Phillies announcer Harry Kalas. A steady stream of fans visited the Harry Kalas statue on the concourse beyond the left field foul pole at Citizens Bank Park to take pictures of their favorite play-by-play guy.”

NBC 10 added: “The beloved voice of the Phillies had called games since 1971 and was affectionately known as “HK.” Fans took to social media to share their remembrances of the man who brought fans “high hopes” year after year. ”
