Penn Basketball Player Charged with Burglary

Anthony Bagtas faces two felony charges in one of a string of recent thefts in the Quad.

It looks like the Penn basketball team’s 8-20 record isn’t the end of its embarrassments this season.

The Daily Pennsylvanian reports freshman Anthony Bagtas, a freshman on the varsity basketball team, has been arrested for 1 of 8 recent burglaries at Penn’s Quad dorms.

Bagatas lived in the Quad and has since been removed from the complex, which includes three dorms that freshmen primarily live in. He has a court date April 8th and is charged with two felonies and two misdemeanors.
