Spike Eskin Named Program Director at WIP

Ex-rock DJ Spike Eskin — yes, son of Howard — gets a new title at the sports talk radio station.

Want to know who to blame when you don’t like what a WIP host is blathering on about? Now you can direct your complaints right to Spike Eskin, who is now the station’s program director. Or, I dunno, don’t do that, he’s probably much busier now.


Eskin, who was a pretty good rock DJ at 94 WYSP before the station was converted to the sports format in 2011, is the son of Howard. Richard Rys wrote a highly-entertaining profile of Spike about a year ago: "Jesus. What If Howard Eskin Was Your Dad?
