The Onion’s Latest Philadelphia Mention Is Hilarious

Once again, The Onion writes about Philadelphia — and gets things right.

It’s always fun when The Onion mentions Philadelphia. It’s not like when other national publications write about Philly — The Onion, despite being a fake newspaper, usually gets it right.

And as such, I enjoyed the latest mention of Philadelphia in The Onion, “City Planner Gets Halfway Through Designing City Before Realizing He’s Just Doing Philadelphia Again. It’s just a short bit, and it’s totally worth a read.

“I was just thinking about putting the city’s main art museum and premier university on opposite banks of the river when all of a sudden it hit me: This is Philly!”
