Chris Christie at Town Hall: “Sit Down, Shut Up or Get Out”

The latest Chris Christie town hall meeting is going swimmingly.

Chris Christie’s nationwide popularity has dropped since the George Washington Bridge scandal. And, forget 2016 — he still has to govern the state of New Jersey! The governor is at the Y in Mount Laurel today to address the budget at a town hall-style meeting. A group of protesters greeted him.

Per this tweet from Fox 29, Chris Christie is being his usual self: Telling a man at the town hall to “Sit down, shut up or get out!” The man was then escorted out.

And the hecklers kept coming.

Christie said he fired his aids/staff because he was appalled by the disrespectful “tone” of the emails – how is “sit down and shut up or get out” a great tone? He sets the bar and establishes the climate for what is acceptable behavior. No wonder his staff act like bullies. I think sometimes he confuses being the governor with being king.
