6ABC reports:

Police say an estimated 50 to 100 vehicles were involved in a series of crashes on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Bensalem, Bucks County on Friday morning.

The crashes happened around 8:30 a.m. Friday near the Route 1 exit for Bensalem.

The most remarkable scene showed up to dozen vehicles, including a FedEx box truck, piled up behind two tractor trailers.

“My car began spinning and then the Fed Ex truck slid into my car,” said Tracey Woods, who was a passenger in the minivan driven by her husband, Jeff Woods.

Sure, blame it on the drivers. The fact the roads were not properly satlted, ice, and sun glare had nothing to do with it. PA State Police announced it was because of irresponsible drivers before they cleared one car. That’s one hell of an investigation.

    Chris Christie’s fault.

Funny thing, the drivers going westbound had no problem. Were they not Yankees too?

There’s a weird thing that happens to some people when the weather gets bad – they drive extra fast as if to pretend that there ARE no hazardous conditions. As if slowing down and being careful were admitting their own mortality.
