Joe Biden Comes to Philadelphia to Sit on Train

Vice President Joe Biden is at 30th Street Station touting Amtrak’s new electric locomotive.

Joe Biden is visiting Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station today, and Delaware’s favorite son showed up to sit in Amtrak’s new locomotive.

Amtrak said Biden has taken 8,000 round trips.

Biden is in town to celebrate Amtrak’s Cities Sprinter electric locomotive, which will power trains along the Northeast corridor and from Harrisburg to Philadelphia.

Oh, yeah, and Biden’s train touting is causing a lot of traffic problems.

amcrap was alotted 468 million for new engines that are being built in ca by Siemens to replace te old aem 7 and other engines in the system. Also new passenger , baggage and sleeper cars are being built in n y state by another co . The new bagae cars will have byclcle racks built in. Heres what gets me. Haalf the $ allocated is going to be used to clean up pcb dirt contamination at the Wilmington yard in DE. wre they do the maintenance on these trains and where they need to extend the tracks for the new equipment. After all this time why wasnt the contaminated dirt cleaned up? septa has done it in at Paoli back in the mid 90 s . what makes amcrop so special? according to phila inquier report on the Keyston and nec line theres over 180 failing bridges that need to be replaced thats preventing amcrap from running faster trains . they have a failing cantenary system that keeps delaying trains and bridges in the entire system that have speed restrictions because they are failing . priorities anyone?
