Jamie Moyer Could Grab Phillies TV Job

Everybody’s favorite old pitcher in town Wednesday to interview.

The Phillies’ website reports that Jamie Moyer was in town this week for talks on joining Tom McCarthy in the team’s TV booth. “The more I’ve thought about it and the more time I’ve spent with the people at Comcast, it’s allowed me to reflect a little bit on my childhood and think about all the great broadcasters I grew up listening to,” Moyer said Wednesday. “To be a part of that rich history would be pretty exciting.” Moyer, Mickey Morandini, and Kevin Stocker are thought to be leading candidates for the job.

This was confirmed tonight by Dan Baker at an event. There was another name in the potential pool that I think I am forgetting.
