“Johnny Doc” and IBEW Local 98 Back Allyson Schwartz for Governor

Fundraiser to be held tonight.

Inky politics writer Thomas Fitzgerald reports that IBEW Local 98, led by John J. Dougherty, will present Rep. Allyson Schwartz a $100,000 check for her gubernatorial bid at tonight’s fundraiser for her. “The union, led by its influential manager business manager John J. Dougherty, announced its endorsement decision ahead of a fundraiser it is hosting for Schwartz at the union hall in the Spring Garden section of Philadelphia Wednesday night.” That’s a big Democratic establishment endorsement; will other dominoes fall quickly, or will the nomination battle go long and help Tom Corbett?

As a Democrat who wants to see Corbett for the same reason Comcast’s President endorsed Corbett,,,,the nomination battle will help Tom Corbett. In a state as conservative and frankly not open to women candidates,,,,,and where Philadelphia is hardly a shining star to the rest of the Commonwealth,,,,,Allyson is not the one – No matter what Conservative Talk Radio says,,,,big business (Fracking for Free) and Corporate Money (Comcast) is behind a Republican who will do what they tell him to do. All the threats of the classic Talk Radio “Primary Challenge” in the world won’t give a single Democratic Vote to a Republican Base.

Dems, wise up, like Ridge, Corbett became governor because they claimed how most voters west of City Line Avenue feel,,,,They don’t like Philadelphia.

Tom Wolf is the best candidate. Business minded, funding his own campaign, which hopefully should limit the amount of influence scumbags like Dougherty have over him.And most importantly, not a political lifer like the rest of this field. Corbett will sell this state to the highest bidder. Look at all the prisons being built by Southerners and Californians all over the state. Schwartz has the filth of DC all over her hands. Her voting record screams globalist lacky. It is possible to be a liberal, and still uphold the Constitution. Not just give it lip service.
