Watch: BBC Interviews Mayor Nutter on Trip to London

Brits skeptical about Philadelphia—a city with “high levels of crime.”

While he was in London last week, Mayor Michael Nutter appeared on BBC’s “HARDtalk” program.

The BBC describes: “Zeinab Badawi speaks to African-American Democrat Michael Nutter, mayor of Philadelphia. He is in London to try and attract business and investment to Philadelphia. But how can a city with high levels of crime be an attractive environment for visitors and tourists? Mayor Nutter wants the Obama administration to spend more on tackling violence and crime at home, rather than fighting terrorism abroad. Why does he think this is not happening?”
