Nutter Does Best Cory Booker Impersonation
Tends to injured cyclist on MLK Drive.
So this happened yesterday morning:
On her way to work Thursday morning, Lauren Walker, one of the mayor’s aides, spotted the accident at the corner of Sweetbriar Drive and called her boss, mayoral spokesman Mark McDonald said. Nutter happened to be a few cars behind his assistant and called 911 when he got to the scene.
A 63-year-old man had been struck by a Ford Focus while in a crosswalk. He suffered a broken hip and two broken legs; Nutter waited with him and “did what he could” until the ambulance came.
