Why Is Ben Roethlisberger Holding an Eagles Helmet?

Asks if he can wear it “on the toilet.”

Ben Roethlisberger, whose foundation provides canine officers to police departments, was honored at a law enforcements awards ceremony in Pittsburgh Friday. Which is where he received an unexpected gift from Philly Supreme Court Justice Seamus McCaffery.

McCaffery, aka the Eagles Court guy, gave Roethlisberger a Birds motorcycle helmet. (You all remember why he’s getting a bike helmet, right?) To which Ben responded: “Thank you. That’s awesome. I have to say, I have to stand up for myself. I don’t ride anymore, just the toilet. So I can wear this when I’m on the toilet. Is that all right?”

Which is pretty much what we would have expected him to say. [CBS]
