A Woman Jumped Out of a Moving Cab on the Parkway Last Night

Boulevard of broken bones.

For reasons yet unknown, a 44-year-old woman jumped out of a taxicab on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway (around 18th street) around 8:30 p.m. yesterday. Police claim there was a dispute between driver and passenger. I’ve got some other theories.

  • Woman becomes terrified of giant dinosaur outside the Academy of Natural Sciences and  got Jurassic Park flashbacks from when the T-Rex attacks the car.
  • Woman reads blog post I wrote from last week about UBER lowering their fares in Philly.

The woman was taken to Hahnemann with a “possible” broken leg. [6 ABC]
