Center City’s Paul Levy Leads Philadelphians on Innovator List

National list of "City Innovators" picks some familiar figures.

Via Philadelphia Business Journal, we see that Paul Levy, executive director of Center City District, leads the list of Philadelphians in Top 100 City Innovators Worldwide list released earlier this month by Future Cities Report.

Of Levy, the report says: “Paul has served as president and chief executive at Philadelphia’s Center City District since it was founded in 1991 to improve the city’s downtown area. It has so far spent $43 million on services including planning, marketing, security, and cleaning. Levy has also taught at the University of Pennsylvania’s City Planning Department since 1979.”

Other locals on the list: Penn’s Eugene Birch; Adel Ebeid, who is chief innovation officer for Philadelphia; Philabundance’s William J. Clark;  David Gloss and Kevin Colahan at Here’s My Chance;  and Judith Rodin, former president of Penn.
