New Map Released of Philadelphia Tax Delinquents

Our millions in missed revenue now in interactive picture form!

Chris Sawyer, the often acerbic operator of Philadelinquency and high-ranking lieutenant in the war-of-words down in Point Breeze, has published his latest map of delinquent properties in Philly.

The detailed map specifies how long the property has been under lien and whether or not the owner has entered into a payment plan with the city. If you want to get a visual sense of just how much revenue the city is missing out on, take a look at the map. “Roughly 100,00 tax delinquent properties” is harder to make sense of than a map of entire neighborhoods blotched with the red indicator of nonpayment.
