Atlantic City Officer Accused of Brutality, Using Dog to Torture Suspect

It’s no fun to be on the receiving end of a police attack dog.

NBC 10 reports that David Castellani Jr. was kicked out of an Atlantic City casino for being underage—when he exchanged words with police on the scene, the situation went south, culminating in a K-9 police dog allegedly being allowed to chomp on his neck while he was face down and unable to resist police.

NBC reports: “Atlantic City Police Chief Ernest Jubilee confirmed however that internal affairs and the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office are both investigating. Chief Jubilee also claimed he viewed the recording and ‘saw no reason to suspend or remove the officers from their regular duties.’Finally, the chief stated that because of the investigation, the officers involved cannot comment.”
