Cory Booker Wins Senate Primary (Duh)

Cory Booker ran away with it last night. In a four-way Democratic primary, he netted 60% of the vote to U.S. Rep Frank Pallone’s 20%. Rush Holt and Sheila Oliver finished third and fourth, respectively. On the GOP side of the Senate race to replace the late Frank Lautenberg, former Bogota mayor Steve Lonegan also won easily. The two will face off in an October 16th primary election, which is being held on October 16th, because, you know. [Inquirer]
