Real Housewives’ Theresa and Joe Giudice Charged with Fraud

For tricking us into watching their dumb show! No, just kidding, we love it.

Two stars of the popular reality television show “Real Housewives of New Jersey” were charged today with allegedly conspiring to defraud lenders and illegally obtain mortgages, federal authorities said this afternoon. In addition, authorities say, Teresa Giudice and her husband, Giuseppe “Joe” Giudice, are accused of hiding assets and income during a bankruptcy case.

In all, they’ve been charged with 39 counts and could face multiple years in prison each if found guilty. Gosh, this is the most dramatic real-life thing that’s happened between cast members since Johnny the Greek got beat down after possibly saying something offensive about Chris Laurita’s autistic son.
