Mom: Sarah Murnaghan Recovering “Slow But Steady” From Lung Transplant

MyFoxPhilly reports:

Ten-year-old Sarah Murnaghan is making slow but steady progress in her recovery.

On Thursday, Sarah will undergo a small procedure that will allow a tube to send food directly to her stomach

Sarah’s mom posted an update on Facebook, saying in part, “We will try switching vent types, ever since the pneumonia she has needed a different type of vent, this will be a huge win if successful.”

Sarah, who has cystic fibrosis, has had two lung transplants in recent weeks to correct the condition.
