Women and Minorities Be Warned: Don Imus Returning to Philly Radio

Ever since Nappy-headedhogate in 2007, radio jock Dom Imus has been off Philly airwaves. Beginning Tuesday morning, from 6-9 a.m., he’ll be back, on 106.9 FM. So here’s your new and even more aggressively white and angry weekday schedule.

6 a.m.-9 a.m. Don Imus
9 a.m.-12 p.m. Glenn Beck
12 pm.-3 p.m. Rush Limbaugh
3 p.m.-6 p.m. Sean Hannity

Lionel, another NYC-based host, is out. All this is to say, a 72-year-old crank with a penchant for racist outbursts who’s been irrelevant for more than a decade is a major improvement over the current lineup. [Philly.com]
