George Zimmerman’s Lawyer Went to Penn and DJ’d for WMMR

Long before he became George Zimmerman’s knock-knock joking defense attorney, and a little bit after he graduated from Penn with a bachelors, Don West was a DJ at WMMR 93.3 FM Philadelphia. “He was there for basically a long sip of water,” in 1977 and 1978, says his former MMR DJ Michael Tearson. The stint was also “not very successful,” Tearson says. The future knock-knock joker gave up entertaining people and went to law school shortly thereafter, graduating from SUNY Buffalo. [Daily News]
