Manayunk Dry Cleaners, Now Delivering By Drone

Newsworks catches up with a dry cleaner in Manayunk who is trying to appeal young people who like technology, the environment, and “the future.” By marketing their business–and eventually delivering your dry-cleaned pants suit–via drone.

While this may have “absolutely no practical or functional use,” as one amused Manayunker tells the camera crew, it could be good PR for the Department of Defense. There’s nothing less effective, efficient, and deadly than what you’re about to see.

    So a guy hangs a shirt on a $100 flying toy and it’s all of a sudden “delivery by drone?” FAIL.

      That model appears to cost $800. The one you have in your living room probably couldn’t lift a pencil. The PR is good, though, and if this is what they wanted, they got it!
